Jalapeño & Monterey Jack Grilled Cheese

It’s not easy being green, but it is quite tasty!

Blake Hill Jalapeno & Lime Chili Jam

monterey jack cheese (we used Cabot shredded monterey jack)

avocado

microgreens

artisan bread

butter or mayonnaise

Instructions

Spread butter or mayonnaise over one side of both your bread slices and heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Spread the jam on the opposite side of the bread and lay both slices of the bread, butter/mayo side down into the skillet.

Sprinkle shredded cheese onto both slices of bread and cover the skillet. After the cheese has melted and the underside of the bread is golden brown, remove from the skillet and place onto a plate.

Build your grilled cheese by adding slices of avocado and microgreens to one cooked slice of bread, then top with the other slice.

Serve immediately and Enjoy!
