US Good Food Awards have just announced Blake Hill Preserves' beloved Jalapeno and Lime Spicy Chili Jam as a Finalist for a 2024 Good Food Award!
The Good Food Foundation exists to celebrate, connect, empower and leverage the passionate and engaged, yet often overlooked, players in the food system who are driving towards tasty, authentic and responsible food in order to humanize and reform our American food culture. With over 2,000 entries each year, the competition is fierce for a Good Food Award. Look for the blue seal on the shelves of exceptional grocers like the Good Food Merchants Collaborative. Our Jalapeno and Lime Spicy Chili Jam is named a Good Food Award Finalist...again!
That's right, this bright, perfectly spicy preserve has been graced with Good Food honors once before and we are thrilled this crowd pleaser continues to shine.
Featuring locally grown organic chilis from Honey Field Farm, we cook jalapenos with fresh limes, cucumbers and apple cider vinegar, then add just a little pure cane sugar for a touch of sweetness, to create a rich, refreshing and deliciously vibrant medium heat chili jam.
This stunning combination makes for a great glaze for swordfish, steaks or salmon; a delicious crema when mixed with sour cream; and a great addition to cornbread. A favorite feature in our Cooking with Jam recipe series, see why we LOVE cooking with this chili jam!

Our small Artisan Jam Team was not surprised that our Fresh Tomato Jam caught the judges attention.
Featuring fresh seasonal tomatoes including locally grown organic Cherry and Heirloom tomatoes from Honey Field Farm and our special fresh Italian herb blend, this is a naturally sweet and savory tomato jam bursting with flavor!
A perfect Jam for Cheese, especially classic cheddar and manchego. Also one of our favorite jams to cook with as a delicious alternative to regular tomato sauce or ketchup.
