Spiced Onion Turkey Burger
Bitters in your burger? Yes! We collaborated with Runamok Maple to bring you the most moist and flavorful turkey burger you’ve ever had. Runamok’s Maple Aromatic Bitters add extra umami and a hint of clove - flavors that pair well with our French Onion with Rosemary jam. Top the whole burger with Vermont Creamery goat cheese for added creaminess.
Serving Size: 3-4 burgers
16 ounces ground turkey
1 egg
1 tbsp vegetable oil
⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
½ tsp salt
white pepper
8 - 10 dashes Runamok Maple Aromatic Bitters
2- 4 oz goat cheese
arugula
hamburger buns (optional)

In a medium bowl, combine turkey, egg, oil, breadcrumbs, salt, a few grinds of white pepper, and the bitters. Blend the ingredients with your hands, doing your best not to overwork the meat. Divide into 3 or 4 burger patties.

Fire up the grill (or use oil in a saute pan on the stove). When grill is heated to about 450°F, place the burgers gently on the surface. Leave in place for about 5 - 8 minutes until nicely browned and then flip. Grill another 5 minutes or until completely cooked. Cook times may vary based on grill temperature and size of burgers. Remove burgers to a plate.

If using a bun, place the cooked patty on the bun. Dot burger with a 1-2 tablespoons of goat cheese, top with a generous amount of Blake Hill French Onion with Rosemary jam, and then add some arugula. Place the top bun and Enjoy!
