Naked Strawberry Maple Pie

This elegant pie celebrates the simple things in life! Jam made from gorgeous strawberries - without any added sugar - paired with creamy custard and crumbly, buttery pastry. It’s the ideal special occasion tart, and we can’t resist it any day either!

Serving Size: 1 round 9" pie

1 pre-baked pie crust

3 large eggs

1 large egg yolk

1 cup whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup maple sugar

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon for dusting

1 jar Blake Hill's Naked Strawberry Jam

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Whisk eggs, egg yolks and maple sugar in medium bowl until mixture starts to thicken, 1 - 2 minutes

Add milk, cream and salt, continuing to whisk as each is added to make custard

Spread Blake Hill's Naked Strawberry Jam across pie crust base, then gently spoon custard on top of jam

Bake pie until crust is golden brown, custard edge is set and middle still jiggles, 45 - 50 minutes

Cool custard to room temperature, then chill in fridge until sets, at least two hours. Just before serving, dust with ground cinnamon and Enjoy!
