Orange Clafoutis Tart
This unique spin on the classic French Clafoutis pie incorporates our quintessential Orange Marmalade which pairs perfectly with this rich, pancake-like custard. A simple, versatile dessert that is much more impressive than its easy construction might suggest.
Serving Size: 1 round 9" tart
1 pre-baked tart crust
3 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 jar Blake Hill's Orange & Bourbon Marmalade

Preheat oven to 350°F

Sift together flour, sugar and sea salt into medium bowl then continuously whisk in milk, cream and eggs until well combined, 2 - 3 minutes in total

Add Orange & Bourbon Marmalade into a bowl and remove around 12 orange rinds and set aside

Spread remaining marmalade across tart crust base, then gently spoon custard on top of the marmalade

Bake tart for 30 - 35 minutes until top of custard starts to set and gently place the orange rinds across top of tart

Continue baking tart until crust is golden brown, custard edge is set and middle still jiggles, 45 - 50 minutes in total

Cool custard to room temperature, then chill in fridge until sets, at least two hours. Serve and Enjoy!
