Spicy Jalapeño, Tuna & Cheddar Melt
Our favorite Tuna Melt sandwich simply made special with the addition of our Jalapeño Lime spicy chili jam - so easy!
Serving Size: 1 sandwich
1 five-ounce tuna can, drained
1 shallot, thinly sliced
2 - 3 slices of cheddar cheese (we used Jasper Hill’s Cabot Clothbound)
2 slices artisan bread
Parsley, chopped (optional)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature

Instructions

Preheat skillet on medium-low heat.

Spread butter on one side of a bread slice and place on bottom of a skillet, butter side down.

Break tuna apart with a fork and place on top of the slice of bread already in skillet.

Spoon Blake Hill’s Jalapeño & Lime Chili Jam evenly over tuna and top with cheddar and sliced shallot.

Top with the remaining slice of bread, butter side up.

Cook sandwich in skillet until bottom slice is golden brown then flip over and repeat.

Remove sandwich from skillet, slice into two halves and Enjoy!
